The next United States Presidential Election is due to take place in 2020 and is scheduled for Tuesday, 3rd November.
It will be the 59th US Presidential Election and voters will choose presidential electors who will either elect a new president and vice president through the electoral college or re-elect the incumbents. The Presidential Primaries are likely to take place during the first six months of 2020 and the current President, Donald Trump, is eligible for re-election and the winner will be inaugurated on 20th January 2021.
