This is the tightest of the three on price, but I still lean to the favorite side. The market has Charlton/Gray around -143 to -148, with Hsieh/Sun around +102 to +112, so books see only a narrow gap. The best reason to trust that lean is Charlton’s proven Wuning record: the Wuning 2 doubles page notes that Joshua Charlton and Ben Jones were the defending champions from Wuning 1, and Charlton is back this week with Alastair Gray. There is also a useful matchup echo from last week. Search-result records for Wuning 1 show Hsieh/Sun lost 0-2 to Charlton/Jones on April 9, and the current Wuning 2 market still makes Charlton’s new pairing a slight favorite. I would not overbet it because Gray is not Jones and the line is modest, but the combination of Charlton’s defending-champion status, the recent straight-set win over Hsieh/Sun, and the current favorite price is enough for me to stay on Charlton/Gray ML rather than trying to be clever with the underdog.
