Slovakia U-21 vs England U-21
UEFA EURO U-21 Group Stage
Today, 17:00 (CET)
Kielce City Stadium
This will be the second match of Group A in the 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. With only the one team guaranteed a place in the semi-final from each group, the second round of matches are going to be hugely important. Finishing second in the group is not an option and a win from this game is the only thing which is going to offer a good chance of making it to the knockout stages of the tournament.
England qualified impressively from their group and there was little danger they were not going to make it to Poland. The key aspect was their defence and they only conceded 3 goals in eight matches, a feat which was matched by only two other teams, Denmark and Italy.
Slovakia also finished top of their qualifying group and lost just one of their eight matches, which came at the hands of Belarus in their first game. While Slovakia conceded twice as many goals than England during qualifying, they scored one more and will be hoping to find the back of the net in this game.
1. Bookies Choice
This will be only the second time Slovakia have participated in the European Under-21 Championship. The first time they contested the tournament was back in 2000, when they were hosts and they made the semi-finals, finishing fourth. They failed to qualify for the following eight tournaments, whereas England have participated in the last five, all be it with varying degrees of success.
England have finished bottom of their group in the two previous European Under-21 tournaments and will be determined to put the record straight in 2017. They will see this match as being a great opportunity to pick up a win.
Therefore, England must come into this match as favourites to take maximum points. You can back them at 1.67 to win the match. Slovakia is 5.50 and the draw can be backed at 4.00.

2. Slovakia v England U21 Betting Tips
Slovakia will be relying on their attacking play to win them points in this group. During qualification, they scored plenty of goals and many of their matches were high-scoring affairs. Results included 4-2, 5-0 and 3-1 home wins over Netherlands, Turkey and Belarus respectively and 3-1 and 3-0 wins in Netherlands and Cyprus. However, despite recording these impressive wins, England are fancied to come out on top in this match and England to win and both teams to score might be a tempting pick here.
Adam Zreľák is likely to be leading the line for Slovakia and he was their top goal scorer during qualification. Currently playing for FK Jablonec and capped twice at senior level, Zreľák can be backed to score anytime which also seems like a good pick.
