I also like that the match is being played in Thailand’s FIFA Series bracket rather than some random isolated friendly. The setup gives Thailand home conditions and a more meaningful environment than a standard exhibition, which is enough for me to lean their way. What stops me from going bigger is that DR Congo are not a dead side. FIFA recently described them as a team pushing toward the top 100, so I am not treating this like a mismatch.
