1. Champions League Betting Odds
The publication of the new Champions League betting odds is always an exciting time for punters and means the new season is close.
Despite having won the Champions League for the past three seasons, which is a record, Real Madrid are not considered the favourites for the trophy by the bookmakers this season. That accolade falls to Manchester City, who are the 3/1 favourites with Bet365's Champions League betting odds.
Manchester City enjoyed a tremendous Premier League campaign under the guidance of Pep Guardiola last season. In winning the Premier League title, Manchester City broke many records including total points, consecutive wins, most goals scored and most wins. It was a tremendous season but the one major disappointment came in the Champions League.
Manchester City lost heavily to Liverpool in the quarter-final and must learn from their mistakes in the first leg at Anfield, if they are to progress to the final this season. Guardiola last one the Champions League in 2010/11 with Barcelona and his third success in Europe’s premier club competition has been a long time coming. What are their odds to win the Premier League?
2. Champions League Predictions
Champions League betting tips would not be the same without mentioning the two Spanish giants, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Barcelona won La Liga last season but have failed to get beyond the quarter-final of the Champions League in their last three attempts. With Lionel Messi in their ranks, the Catalan giants always have a chance and can be backed at 9/2 with Bet365, making them the second favourites to win the tournament.
Real Madrid have lost their talisman this summer, with Cristiano Ronaldo opting to take a new challenge in Italy. This and the fact Zinedine Zidane has left his role as manager, has seen Real Madrid’s odds lengthen for the 2018/19 Champions League. Julen Lopetegui took charge of the club in dramatic circumstances this summer and has his work cut out to emulate the success of Zidane, especially without Ronaldo to score the goals.

Real Madrid odds to win Champions League are at 10/1 with Bet365 (read JohnnyBet's Bet365 review).
Just ahead of Real Madrid in the Champions League betting odds you will find Juventus. This is the new home of Cristiano Ronaldo and the Portuguese will be aiming to win his fourth Champions League medal in a row. Juventus have reached the final in two of the last four seasons, only to fall to Spanish opposition.
Ronaldo could be the man who takes them that one step further and you can back Juventus to win the Champions League for the first time since 1995/96 at 7/1 with Bet365. Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are both available at 13/2.

3. Champions League Betting Tips
It seems strange to think of some of the best clubs in the Premier League as being outsiders for the Champions League but the strength of the teams in the competition makes it that way. Are they considered in our Champions League betting tips?
Liverpool reached the final last season and also finished runners-up in the 2015/16 Europa League under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp. The German has made some good additions to the squad this summer but unless they bring in a top goalkeeper, the Champions League could remain out of reach. Liverpool are 14/1 with Bet365 to go one better than last season and lift the Champions League.
Manchester United and Atletico Madrid join Liverpool on 14/1 with the latter being perhaps the best equipped to win the Champions League. Diego Simeone has remained at the club along with Antoine Griezmann and they have made some good signings including Thomas Lemar and Rodri.
Other teams to look our for include Tottenham Hotpsur at 25/1 and Napoli and Borussia Dortmund at 40/1.
