The 2018 NFL season will start on 6th September, with the NFL Kickoff Game between the defending Super Bowl LII champions Philadelphia Eagles and the Atlanta Falcons. The game will take place at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
NFL fans will already have that date marked in their diary but the main event of the season, as always, is the Super Bowl. One of the world’s biggest showpiece sporting occasions, Super Bowl LIII will be played on 3rd February 2019 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
This will be the 53rd Super Bowl and the 49th modern-era NFL championship game. It will be the third staged in Atlanta, with the most recent being Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000. St. Louis Rams and Tennessee Titans contested that match but who will get the trophy? Check out our early Super Bowl 2019 predictions.
1. 2019 Super Bowl Betting Odds
When discussing the potential winners of the 2019 Super Bowl, it would be foolish not to mention the defending champions, Philadelphia Eagles. There is little doubting the depth of talent in the Eagles squad and their coaching staff and the offence has cover in every position. The defence is also strong but the off season has not been kind, losing quarterbacks coach John DeFilippo to the Minnesota Vikings and offensive coordinator Frank Reich to the Indianapolis Colts.
However, the Eagles have players returning from injury this season, including starting quarterback Carson Wentz. At 10.00 with Bet365, Philadelphia Eagles can go all the way to Super Bowl LIII.
Having considered the winners of last seasons Super Bowl, its impossible to ignore the losing team, New England Patriots.
The Patriots have proven they can go head-to-head with the Eagles and with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, the Patriots have arguably the best quarterback and head-coach duo in the history of he NFL. The loss of defensive coordinator Matt Patricia will be a blow but the Patriots make a great case for being at the 2019 Super Bowl and are the bookmakers favourites to win it at 6.00.
Pittsburgh Steelers, who last won the Super Bowl in 2008, are also strongly fancied by many and can be backed at 11.00 to win the 2019 Super Bowl.

2. Other Super Bowl 53 Bets
One of the most intriguing bets for the 2019 Super Bowl must be Jacksonville Jaguars. They have endured some disappointing results in recent years but a tremendous defensive effort in 2017 saw the Jaguars finish third in the AFC Conference and progress all the way through to the AFC Championship game.
The Jaguars defensive statistics were excellent in 2017 and they finished second in sacks, second in interceptions and tied first for defensive touchdowns.
There is concern over the accuracy of current starting quarterback Blake Bortles and despite the trade of Cody Kessler from the Cleveland Browns, this area has not improved. Hence the Jacksonville Jaguars are out at 21.00 to win the 2019 Super Bowl but given their progress last season, do not be surprised to see them go far again in the upcoming campaign.
There is major coverage of the NFL throughout the season on channels including ESPN, CBS, Fox, and NBC. Amazon, Yahoo and the official NFL Game Pass are great ways to watch the NFL and look out for 2019 Super Bowl live streaming and betting come the end of the season.
